Services: Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 22nd, at Hursen Funeral Home in Westchester, IL, with internment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.

Cecilia P. Gaspar (nee Brna), 91, originally from Chicago, passed away on February 17, 2010, at The Beatitudes Campus in Phoenix, AZ. A graduate of St. Simon the Apostle Grammar School (Chicago) and Visitation High School (Chicago). She married Michael V. Gaspar, her husband for forty-two years, who preceded her in death. The couple resided in Evergreen Park, IL for more than 20 years. Cecilia is survived by her daughter, Dr. Michele Gaspar, DVM (David Elsner), of Chicago, her son, James, of Cave Creek, her grandchildren Carrie Katai (Daniel) and Ryan (Kathryn), and her great-grandchildren Paige, Trevor and Grant. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Anna (Gogolak) and Claire (Danko) and her daughter-in-law, Sheila (Brown) Gaspar. Cecilia was a life-long member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association Branch 46.
