Ernestine Margaret Lynn Robbins, 91, born December 4, 1918 in Elkins, WV, died March 7, 2010 at The Springs of Scottsdale, AZ. Her parents were Albert and Clara Keppel Lynn. She was a 1936 graduate of Corry High School, Corry, PA., and a 1938 graduate of Westminster College, New Wilmington, PA. She married Horace Robbins April 18, 1942 and they moved to Arizona in 1948 where she worked for 32 years at AiResearch. She volunteered at St. Luke’s Hospital and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Horace in 1993 and leaves behind an Arizona family of Vicki and Byron Scott, Chris and Wendy Morrison and Ric and Judy Shorrock. Her Pennsylvania family includes sister-in-law Belle Sutton, niece Jill and Tom Bolmer, nephews Eric and Judy Sutton and Kevin and Linda Sutton, niece Cheryl and Frank Zalik, several grand nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Edna Mae and Donald Klotz of Ohio, and cousin Flora Ann and Vincent Besink of Clymer, NY. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM Thursday, March 11, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3641 N. 56th St., Phoenix, AZ. A graveside service will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Corry, PA at a future date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her church or a charity of your choice. She will be greatly missed for her loving and caring personality. Arrangements entrusted to Messinger Indian School Mortuary, Scottsdale.
